We are accepting submissions for consideration in the following categories:

1) FEATURES-narrative fiction-all genre's including animation-70 minutes or greater
 
2) SHORTS-narrative fiction-all genre's including animation-under 70 minutes
 
3) DOCUMENTARY-non-fiction-any length
 
4) COLLEGE FILMMAKER-any genre, any length-you do not have to be in a film school or grad program
 
Selected filmmakers are invited to introduce their projects as well as participate in post-screening Q&A
 
Submissions for 2011 are only available through the Dreamland website; your online entry form will be considered your
entry date and will be attached to your film when it arrives. Submissions will remain open until 8/27/2011; submissions arriving after this date will not be considered and cannot be returned. Screeners cannot be returned at this time.
 
Fees are $30 for films greater than 70 minutes and $20 for films 70 minutes or less in all categories. Screeners with appropriate fee may be forwarded to:

The festival will run October 13-16th, 2011 open with a brunch for all filmmaker's who have been invited to screen on the 13th at Anna Liffey's, an Irish pub that is a longstanding local favorite as well as one of our venue's and culminate with our awards party on the 16th; awards will include a Best in each category as well as male and female actor; director, writer and picture.
 
Live music will follow all screenings into the night in New Haven's exciting downtown club scene as Dreamland runs alongside the East Rock West Rock Music Festival-there will be something for everyone's musical tastes.
 
Awards Day will kick off with a special screening of the award winning documentary THE PIPE-a heartwarming David and Goliath tale about a tiny Irish village who engaged a mighty oil giant in battle-and guess what happened? This screening will include a Q&A with someone very close to the story...
